Set up a
network drive - between two similar devices:
Do
you have multiple PCs on a LAN (Local Area Network)? If so, you can easily
create a network drive to share your files.
1.)
Select a hard drive which will work as a network drive
2.)
Map that drive to each computer (you will be using)
3.)
If you have a PC, go to the Start
>Control Panel , once you get
there you should see a heading which says System
and Security, either click on it or simply select the sub-heading
below which says Back up your computer (see
screenshots below)
4.)
Select Set Up Backup and follow the
steps
5.)
If you have a Mac, use the Time Capsule
(under System Settings) to
synchronize the hard drive images automatically
* If you have two different devices
or need to synchronize files on a home and a work station, you might have to
look into third-party sources.
