10 Ways to extend the battery life of your laptop between charges:

1.) Adjust screen resolution.

2.) Turn off wireless adapter when not in use.

3.) Close all un-used applications – frees RAM and CPU use – the less the battery
is drained.

4.) Lower performance and graphics settings.

5.) Copy movies or music on to a USB drive – the less the hard drive is being used,
the longer the battery lasts.

6.) Keep laptop air vents clean – which will keep
your laptop cool as well.

7.) Check the Power Options under the control panel.

8.) Hibernate your computer instead of putting it to sleep.

9.) Use the right adapter to charge your laptop – a mismatch can cause battery
overload and damage the life of the battery.

10.) Don’t use external hardware – avoid using as much external hardware as you can
– it saves power.
